CREATING AN AUTHENTIC & EFFECTIVE SELLING PROCESS
Do you consider yourself a creative? And as a creative, do you struggle with being seen as a “sales person” in your client interactions?
If I had a dollar for every time an entrepreneur started off a conversation with me with one of these statements, it would significantly impact my revenue each year:
“I suck at sales.”
“I hate selling.”
“I don’t know how to sell.”
At this point, when any of the above statements come out of someone’s mouth, I instantly know it’s because they don’t have an effective process for selling that works for their personality style. The way they’re approaching sales isn’t authentic and therefore is likely uncomfortable for their prospects as well.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Sales isn’t something that should suck or feel gross to you or to your prospective clients.
