A Simple Brand Strategy To Boost Your Visibility and Influence

Brand Strategy, Marketing, Influence, Visibility,

Being consistent and sharing content that gains you and your company brand Visibility and Influence in the marketplace is an essential key to building a brand empire.

As a special treat for you this week, I've asked my friend and mentor, Joie Gharrity, to be my first ever guest blogger. She's been a huge inspiration and has helped make significant improvements in my business. Joie's a brilliant brand strategist, marketer and content developer. I highly recommend connecting with Joie, getting to know her and more importantly, working with her. Joie just might be the very person you need right now to take your business to the next level (she certainly was for me). Wishing you continued success in all you're doing this week. – Nikki Rausch

In the movie business, it is not unusual for a particular major film director to order the exact same lunch everyday for several months in a row while working on set. I asked this director when I first started working in the Hollywood entertainment industry “WHY?” He told me, “Because we have so many decisions to make in one day that it is one less thing to think about and being consistent is the key.”

Brand & Marketing Tip: Always Be Consistent.

Visibility, Influence, Marketing, Brand Marketing

As women entrepreneurs, we have countless decisions we have to make daily. I am not recommending that you eat the same lunch every day but instead create a daily/weekly marketing schedule that will continue to gain you and your company brand greater Visibility and Influence in the marketplace.

When working with my clients, I refer to this schedule as your company brand marketing “campaign.” You want to include daily shares Monday through Friday that incorporate content that contains real value for the marketplace. For instance, you want to schedule blogs, articles, imagery, tips, strategies, etc. one per day Monday through Friday. And you want to stick to the “campaign” schedule no matter what. Being consistent is the key. Scheduling out your daily/weekly postings will take the guessing game out of what you should be doing next.

I suggest laying down a three or four week campaign at a time and uploading it to a scheduler like Hootsuite. When you schedule out the campaign several weeks in advance, it allows you to work on your business rather than in your business. The marketplace respects consistency, and when you are showing up daily it reminds them that you are an expert in your field. Have fun with your marketing campaigns and say YES to Visibility and Influence. Your future self will be glad you did.
