Being Salesy Or Creating Curiosity: What’s The Difference?
How good are you at creating curiosity? And do you ever worry about coming off as salesy when sharing about your business?
It's a fine line – the difference between creating curiosity and sounding salesy. Be sure you understand the difference. Creating curiosity attracts people to you. Once they express interest, it's your job to earn their business.

Sales Tip on how to tell if you're creating curiosity or being salesy:
It's so much fun to pique someone's curiosity. However, don't let it go to your head. When you start “teasing” people and making them jump through hoops to do business, you've likely moved into being salesy. It is a huge turn off to potential clients.
There's a difference between asking someone to provide their contact information to receive a bonus gift vs. requiring them to give up their information to get basic answers about your product/service.
If you have people lining up to buy from you, keep doing what you're doing.
It's working. However, when you're struggling to get people to take the next step in the buying process, you're likely making it difficult to work with you. The people who make it easy for people to buy from them, earn the business.
